My Goals with Midwest Whitetail

First off, welcome to the new site.  I am very impressed with the work the folks at Rhino Group have done in setting this site up for me.  Arika Sanders at Grate Plains Design did the preliminary design and then Sheryl Schulman at Rhino Group sliced it and tweaked it to make it web-friendly.  Excellent work.

I started this site for one very important reason.  I wanted a place where I can show our web-only, semi-live whitetail hunting show called Midwest Whitetail.  It will continue to appear on Realtree.com and Realtree's Whitetail Site but I want to have a place where I can show it as well, and offer behind the scenes information as well as updates and news about the hunting season.

I want the site to be as current and valuable as possible during each season and having the semi-live hunting show is a great place to start.  You can find lots of current tips in each show as well as information about deer behavior as it relates to the stage of the season.  Take a look, I hope you find the show entertaining as well as educational.

In time, I will also be bringing you a Forum section where you can discuss your favorite topics and will narrow the focus of the site to address specific states.  Should be a fun adventure.

I need lots of feedback so you are welcome to ask questions in the "Ask Winke" section if you want the material to be public, or send me an e-mail through the e-mail link at the bottom left of the home page.  I will try to answer as many as possible, but I may not be able to get back with you immediately.

I want this site to be a place you feel welcome and where I can offer the kinds of content you want to watch and read.  So please make it as much yours as mine by letting me know what you want to see here.

I'll be sending out e-mail reminders every time I post a new show, so if you want to be on the mailing list just subscribe at the bottom left of the home page.

Finally, I'll be going to most of the Deer Classics throughout the Midwest this winter so please look for the Midwest Whitetail booth at the deer show nearest you.

Thanks and I appreciate your support.
