First, I want to apologize right up front for the length of my latest show. We try hard to keep these shows in the 12 to 15 minute range, but I just had too many bucks (16) with a lot of history that I couldn't figure out which ones to drop out - so I kept them all - 18 minutes of big buck footage! Please indulge me, I promise not to run very many shows this long in the future.
In this episode you can see a number of bucks that were on the hit list last year and what they look like this year. It is very interesting how many of those bucks were right in the same fields where we filmed them last summer. Now, the challenge is to come up with a strategy of trail camera surveillance by which I can find these bucks back after they disperse to their fall ranges. That is what my story will be all about for the next month - finding and patterning these 16 bucks. Should be a fun month!
