The Iowa shotgun season is divided up into two parts. The first season is over. That is the season our son Andrew was hunting. The next season opens tomorrow, Saturday, and our daughter will be hunting that season.
We will probably hunt the cabin again some, as well. However, Jordan is a bit older and taller so we may try to venture into a couple of my tree stands near food plots if it is not too cold.
If you have ever taken a child hunting you realize that it is a lot of work and doing it with a camera is even more work. I get way more nervous about their hunts than I do my own. I want them to be successful and to enjoy the time spent in the field. These are not always compatible goals with kids. The best spots are often too far from the road or the temperatures are too cold to drag them up into a tree, etc.
Anyway, it is the gun season. As mentioned, I will have four cameras out all weekend. I hope we have something big for you come Monday. I try to get the shows up as early as possible each day (Monday and Thursdays currently are the show days) but sometimes I am into the afternoon. To be on the safe side, please check for the latest show in the afternoon.
Thanks for your support. I really enjoy bringing these shows to you and appreciate you coming back to watch them.
Bill
