Mike Sawyer had a great rut when he shot a tremendous buck on November 12 that we had named "Stickers". You can watch the hunt on Episode 19 of Midwest Whitetail.
When he asked me recently if he and his cousin Chris Mack could come down for a late season hunt, I had no idea the kind of action they were going to have. It was the hunt of a lifetime. In three days, they literally stacked them up.
Mike was carrying the Hoyt and Chris was carrying the camera and the TC Triumph. Chris filmed Mike all during the rut and now they had late muzzleloader tags. If the deer were too far away for Mike to make a good bowshot, Chris dumped them with the TC. It worked to a T as the two cleaned out the farm. Incredible action that was even better than November.
