I know it is not fun to learn that we didn't shoot any big bucks last week (though we did shoot at a couple). We feel that pain more than anyone. However, it appears we are not alone. Most everyone out there is having a hard time finding mature bucks moving during the day right now. Mike Sawyer came down to hunt this past weekend and didn't even see a buck of any size! The cool weather makes us think we should be seeing more rut-related cruising, but in reality it isn't the rut - yet. It has definitely been a lull these past few days.
In Episode 10, I narrate a segment showing how I converted a couple of small tree-filled openings into productive food plots. Also watch updates from four of the pro staff members.
It will break loose soon. We just need to be patient.
